Jane Eyre. I’ve seen a few of the others and have wanted to read Princess Bride since I’ve seen the movie. I didn’t even know there was a book about Ella Enchanted.

You’re in for a treat with “The Princess Bride” — it’s a lot like the movie, just more so! And “Ella Enchanted” is a really fabulous book — much better than the movie.

I read the Adams letters book. It was so sweet and inspiring. Abigail’s intelligence and feminism placed her out of time. She should have worked in the women’s lib movement. Thanks for sharing on Literacy Musing Mondays this week again

What a super fun post! Love the different genres twist! I loved the Dorothy Sayers book so much! Also enjoyed The Princess Bride and Jane Eyre. I can’t remember if I’ve actually read The Importance of Being Earnest or just seen the movie, but I love the story nonetheless.
As for my favorite love stories in literature, I’d have to mention Father Tim and Cynthia from the Mitford books for sure. And Debbie Viguie’s Psalm 23 mysteries include the makings of an epic love story in my humble opinion!
Thanks for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com this week! I loved it!
